My Roush Power Pack Level 1 arrived yesterday!

Oh boy!

Looks like I will have to go to Beach Ford or Richmond Ford (Authorized Roush service centers) to get it installed as Hall ford will not do the install like they said they will! Hall Ford backed down and said they will not perform the install. Luckily I have two Roush service centers near by. The GT has an appt. at 8am Monday morning at Beach Ford to get the Roush package installed.

WOOT!

I LOVE it! Throttle response is way better and it has a nice snarl now when you hit the gas. I had the Ford/Roush dealer in VA Beach, VA (Beach Ford) do the install. Well worth this little upgrade.

Cool. Was curious about this. My '06 I had a Steeda CAI and Tune from BrenSpeed. BrenSpeed gave 3 different tunes for different octanes. I rarely used the highest one. Only a couple times during the summer. But had to re-flash it every time I switched using gas.

You probably haven't driven it enough yet to have put different octanes in it. Was just wondering how big of different it makes.

Also, watched a video of the install a while back. Did they say it reprograms the Sport Mode? How's it drive in Normal and Snow mode? Does it feel more stock? Any issues?

All across the board this thing is crazy. It just...goes. In all modes! I only use premium gas in it. Roush requires it. 91 RON or better.

I miss the way my '06 was tuned. Right now, I'm pretty sure it could take my '17 in every way. 0-60. 1/4 mile. So I'm desperately wanting to tune my '17. Just feels sluggish. Soft and slow shifts. Barking the tires up through 4th was just awesome.

But was just curious about how driving modes work with a CAI. I know Brenspeed said that their's replaces the normal driving mode, all others are left untouched, but with a CAI installed, something has to be different.

And the only mode I'd care to be left alone is the Snow/Rain mode. That would actually be nice to have during snowy/slick times.

Drivability is significantly better as is throttle response.
