They are NASCAR loud for sure which I think is one of the reasons why I love them so much haha. Loud, but with some tone to them. It might take some getting used to though.
As for the side splitters, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I drove from Ny to the middle of PA for Carlisle and I was able to touch the exhaust tips without burning myself or going wow that is hot.

In other news, I'm loving my LCAs and new tires. Took a quick drive tonight, 35 degrees out, and very little wheel spin and absolutely no wheel hop. Pirellies would spin like crazy under 40 degrees. Super happy with the Nittos.

They sound pretty frickin amazing to me Nathan. However, having had an offroad h pipe for a while, i came back to appreciate the sound of stock exhaust. (with quad tips)
My head couldn't handle the reverberation off the highway medians all the time. Comes down to what can you live with all day.

Think I'm gonna paint my brake calipers tomorrow. Gonna be nice out but we got some weird dusting of snow last night and there's random patches of salt here and there so I think I'll keep it in the garage until it rains again. Going gloss black and have a couple different sets of the Brembo decals to try out. Planning on doing the hubs/rotors as well. (Can't think of the exact part right now. ) Kinda prefer a satin black for those but with the brake calipers being gloss, I feel like its better and easier just to keep it uniform.

Nathan what caliper paint are you using? Whatever it is, wait at least 24 hours before trying to apply the decals. I learned that the hard way lol. Paint was dry to the touch...but not cured.
Also, I'd put a high heat clear over the caliper once you have the stickers on. It'll make them much easier to keep clean. I didn't do this and dust accumulates around the letters so it gets a nasty dark edge around the letter. The clear will make it more uniform.

I'll be sure to wait a day or two before I put the decals on. Where do you get a high hear clear? Local shelves are pretty empty when it comes to this stuff. All they ever have is red and black in a spray can.

Nice yeah I got a G2 kit too, but then I got the Wilwoods soo lol. Amazon has it. I believe Eastwood makes it. I picked up a can of it also, for this very reason.
Edit: just looked at my order. It's VHT.

Yes. Apparently (from what I've heard) gold and silver are the ones that the huffers prefer, something about the high they get from the chemicals in those colors is stronger than other colors.
Yep. There is a guy that lives down the road from an acquaintance of mine that is ****ed up on that ****. Not a kid either, 40s at least. Huffs that **** constantly. The cops have to pick him up all the time. I've seen him several times out in the middle of the road wandering around, waving his arms, completely naked and shouting at God with a big silver or gold ring around his nose and mouth.
