GT500 Splash Guards / Mud Flaps Installed
Bought these earlier this week, delivered today, installed today. Overboost, thanks for the recommendation. As you stated, this is a MUST DO install. Who doesn't want to save their rear bumper/lower fender from road rash and debris???
Found a great deal online... couldn't pass it up.
Some folks had to remove the rear wheels to get at the screws, but luckily, I had my trusty low profile screwdriver ratchet that I shimmied up some years ago using something I got from Sears. I forget what this tool is called, but hey, it works. Those of you thinking about doing this, this is what you need to avoid wheel removal. Works like a charm.
Install took no more than 10 minutes. If you own a mustang and you can't do this install on your own, you should go trade it in for a prius.... Haha.
So things installed so far on Marilyn:
GT500 mufflers
MGW
GT500 flaps
FRPP K springs - ordered, arriving next week
Here's the pics of the flaps... subtle, yet functional.
Best tool!!!

Looks Great, One of my first mods too!
As much as I DO Like the GT500 & ROUSH Rear Valances...
The Stock GT One is not all that bad IMHO!
I will prob eventually swap it out for a ROUSH one down the rd when I feel like trying to swap over the Reverse Sensors.
