    Hi LEXiiON,
I've been following ECOSTANG's build and your posts have tweaked my interest.
I imported (to Australia) a F150EB to use the drivetrain in a '67 Falcon & before pulling it apart I'm reverse engineering the CAN as I'll need to change a few things (turn the 4WD system OFF & installing a different power steering system-the F rack is huuuuuge. I may use an electric system from a Mazda-I work for Mazda Oz-and will build a computer to translate Ford/Mazda CAN).
The reason for my contact is to ask if you have mapped any of the CAN system yet and, if so, can you share some of the results?
I've mapped HS-CAN message headers to control units and will do the MS-CAN/I-CAN this weekend. Then I "only" need to identify which byte of data represents what, but its all fun....I think.
I mapped some of the HS-CAN on a few Mazda models over the last year so I've got form (and no life).
I'm happy to share any info as I find it if you like.

    Hey Lexiion,

I've read that you are the man when it comes to mustang wiring. I completed my oem nav upgrade and bought a bezel with heated seat buttons. I also purchased the dash harness with heated seats when I replaced it. Do you know if it is possible to wire an aftermarket heated seat pad to the factory heated seat button on the bezel?

    Hi Sir,

Sorry to come back and beg again for your help.

I resolved the issue of downloading the calibration files. The VCM seller had me downloading the V81 version and made a disc of it. Worked out ok afterwards. They also sent me a patch for the date expiration limitation. Now, after removing everything, having the calibration files installed, then V86 version and the patch, and finally the program date extension, I still unable to select the module programming option since I still receive the "selection not available". When I check in the Ford subfolder where ISD is installed, all the calibration files are there. And yes, all the install was made "as an administrator".

Is ther something that you could do to me help with this ?

    thanks,

    Robert
