For the record this place didn't work from January till the crash. For some reason the crash caused these to be available. Maybe this time they won't shut us down because they don't know what to do with the social groups.

So has anyone figured out if these are viewable to regular members?

Pretty sure they can. I could always see the group just had no place to ask to join or reply.
