312HP is not bad V6 Plus with K&N Cold air kit it make over 330hp is for my mom plus I may drive it after Gas prices hit over $7.00 gallon this summer.

 

Fantastic gift, man! About the woman's car comment, I have to say, it's not that the V6 performs like a woman's car, not at all. Its more powerful than my old 05gt! It's just that when you have a choice between a V8 5.0 and a V6, and you choose a V6, you either have a vagina, or are growing one little by little....:-)

And that's certainly not an insult! I love vagina.

 

I had a V6 as a rental, and it really is a respectable car for a daily driver. My mom is going to get one too, but just because she gets the V6 and I get the GT that does not mean that I would not also like the V6 if I needed better gas milage.

So, are you saying that a woman can't handle the 5.0? I suppose you think I should have ordered an automatic too, because surely the little lady can't handle that either. Should I have my husband drive me in it like Miss Daisy? Aren't there plenty of "men" on here that are driving V-6's? The sexism on this site is truly amazing sometimes.

Lol...that's false logic, irrational. In other words, no one said that the 5.0 was only for men. In fact, there's pretty much nothing I've seen that women can't do--my wife does pretty much everything I do, really. The subject was that V6s are for women, not that 5.0s are for men only. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. That's another thing men are better at--rational thought.

I am totally kidding, by the way.

 

And another thing, Miss Daisy was a rich and strong woman. She didn't drive because she didn't want to. She made Morgan Freeman do it because she was 150.

No, they have a lot to do with each other. It's the insenuation that the V6 is a woman's car. You didn't even attempt a joke at the expense of old humor by calling it a secretary's car. So using this advanced logic of yours, everyone driving a roughly 300 horsepower car are women? That makes the case for many Porsche's, BMW M3's, Mustang GT's, G35/37,350/370Z, etc.

So if the V6 is for women, there is only one other sex left, so therefore the logic says it's man, unless your logic includes an AND gate somewhere. The only rationalizing you have done is rationalize that it's OK to jest or poke at someone and then say it's all good by calling it a joke to try and ease the tension. That's not OK. Should have used that rational and logic to put the pieces together.

I may sound like I'm hounding, but I can get fired for crap like this in my office. So, this isn't a new thing. Being in the Army for 8 years, I know what it's like to joke and bash on people pretty hard but this isn't that scenario.

On topic, I think that Lava Red is either going to be an insanely awesome color on a Mustang, or an insanely awesome fail.

 

Whenever I see a 2010 or before V6 I still think it's a girl's car. I've seen a few 2011 V6's and I dont have that same feeling. Esp with the sick perf pack wheels.

 

I have a 2011 v6 and yes I'm a girl. I wouldn't say it's a girlie car at all and my son wouldn't either he's been waiting to steal it but hes still got some time before that will happen
