My buddy's pit, Cali. We think she's mixed with lab though. Seriously the sweetest dog I've ever met. And it's a lovely rainy fall day in Sac today!

Another crazy coincidence Pat! My brother used to have a pit/lab mix named "Blue". Then he had a full pit named Cali lolololololol

Not in my backyard, I had a sign that said " My dog can make it to the door in 2 seconds, can you?". This was on the fence door, which is the only entrance to the backyard.

Backyard is fine, open front yard off leash is what I have a problem with.

My boys where their shock collars when they are outside... They listen really well. We have a home builder right across the way from our house with people in and out all day, I make them sit and wait till the people go inside. They don't dare move or they get in trouble. They know better. They don't like getting shocked

My dog is never on a leash. But she is also well trained, if we tell her to sit and stay, she does. We have a fenced in back yard but that doesn't matter because she opens the gate with her nose and let's herself out if she wants to.

No offense to anyone here, but if you knew how many dogs I had to put down after their owner assured me that it's okay, you'd be securing your dogs.

Shadow

Shadow is the senoir member of this group. She is going to be 14 ye ars old in December of 2012. She is a real Florida dog. She has 2 artifical knees and an arthritic hip. The result is that she walks funny like the rest of the old folks. Seen here with my grand daughter Stefi.

Aww, I hope mine lasts that long. She's 9 and has already had ACL surgery on both hind legs and has degenerative joint disease. She still favors the leg she had her last surgery on in June.
