bad dog news story that just hit. This is fairly local to me, its also the area that was directly hit by the tornados in april 2011. I think this address is fairly close to where I was doing search and rescue. This is really sad to hear, dont know details but hopefully they are healthy.

PLEASANT GROVE - AL - Pleasant Grove Police tells ABC 33/40 15 to 16 pit bulls are being rescued from a house in Pleasant Grove.
Police, Humane Society and Birmingham Animal Control were called to 1009 11th Street around 9:30 this morning. When police arrived they found 15 to 16 pit bulls inside and outside of the residence. The owner was not a home at the time. It is unknown what charges the homeowner could face.
We have a crew on scene and will bring you the latest as it becomes available.
