My first time there. You will have to go some day but you're young and have plenty of time. It was actually my first time out there and Vegas and I'm old! Still a lot of places in the states I want to see.
We did go on the skywalk. What a tourist trap! They charge like thirtysome bucks to go out there and they won't let you take any personal items. So no camera, cell phone or purse or anything. Then they have a photographer go out with you and take pics (the pics start at $30 for the first one).
If I ever go back, I won't go out on it again. But since we'd never been there before we figured we better do it.

Well, the glass is 6" thick (I'm pretty sure that's how thick they said it was). They replaced it once because of the scuff marks from shoes. Now they give you these paper shoe covers so you don't scratch it.
I'm not afraid of heights, so it didn't really scare me. But my husband and I were chuckling at this woman that must have been petrified to go out there. She was holding on to the handrail while walking around the entire thing and would only stay to the side (shuffling her feet, inching along) but she did it!

What's the point if you can't take pics?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Well, you only have to walk as far to the edge as you feel comfortable. There are plenty of places to stand where you aren't near the edge and can see down in the canyon

I'm with Dennis. Pay them to go out there on it? Ha, you couldn't pay me to go out there on it. Matter of fact, you couldn't drag my *** out there. I don't like heights.
