Shelby Big-Block Booze
Mini Rat Terrier
we had several name choices, all of them dealing with cars in some way....u can tell where Shleby came from...and Big-Block, cuz we love FE Ford Motors...and Booze..cuz thats our family name....
the pic was taken around christmas...so thats the reason for the decoration

Here are my backseat bandits, Chauvelin and Marguerite, better known as Chauvy and Maggie or in even less coherent moments, Chau-Chau and Moo-Moo. The nicknames actually make sense in the twisted reality of my household, that's all I can offer. ;-)
They are both purebred cocker spaniels (Chauvy's AKC name is "All That Black So Close Up" if anyone gets the reference). Maggie (4 y.o. as of Feb '05) is a rescue -- her previous owners abandoned her and I found her posting on petfinder.org in June 2003. I bought Chauvy (4 y.o. this June) just before 9/11 as a 10 week old puppy from a local kennel, where I paid top dollar -- that kennel was more like a car dealership come to think of it. They tried to bait and switch me on the dog for chrissakes when their vet screwed up her tail docking (which I begged them not to do), but anyway...
I wish they would sit still in the 'Stang long enough for me to snap a picture but when they do get in the car they're always too excited about where we're going!

Her official name is Dora. Brother had vetoed it when i first told him, but when he took her to the vet, he put Dora in the paperwork ^_^

This is a picture of my girls with our pit MYSTIC, taken at Santa Paws --- a fund raiser for the Humane Society. This pic was featured on the front page of our local paper. Also, it may be nice to note we were in a room with about 12 other dogs, big and small, and as you can see, my daughter (who at the time was 7) was BARELY holding the leash. Its all in how you raise a dog
