Well we set out this morning to the SPCA. It was filled with mongrels,Labs and more pitts and rotts than I have ever seen. Ew,gross and don't wanna get my leg eaten off. Defeated we came home.
I checked craigslist on a whim. We saw the ad for the dog- went to see him, fell in love and then his owner came over here to check our house out. By this time we were enchanted. He's a five year old boxer whose owner got a job that took him from home too much. Here someone is most always home.
He gave him to us with a crate,bed,elevated bowls and the whole 9 yards. We immediately took off to Petsmart and filled up with toys and treats. This Dog Rocks.
We didn't want a puppy or a toy dog and this one is perfect. Also we need to do a LOT of walking here so its built in excersise for us both.
His name is Jojo and Tsi and Mooschi(the siameses) hate him.

I just took in a stray cat a last week. Evil people come and just drop their pets off in the suberbs. They think they're better off or something.

I have tried Puppies. I even got a greyhound last year. Dog from hell. So I went with Siamese cats.
Never again will I get a puppy. This dog is pre trained, well taken care of, Came with all the stuff we needed and we love him. Freaking beautiful also. The old owner still wants to come by on some weekends and take him to the Dog Park. Fine with us.

The full tail is a bit odd. I have never seen a boxer with a tail. Jojo is a friggin clown- he keeps us lauging. I have had him a day and am already enchanted, this is the dog we have been looking for. I wanted a near perfect dog that didn't pee on walls like my Terrier did, or chew things like my greyhound did or in general screw my house up like most of my dogs have. This dog is the golden ticket.
Mooschi is getting curious about the dog. Tsi is still hidden under my bed.

They are a lot of fun and very devotional, and very smart. Trooper enjoys his walks and his runs and like chasing our cats too. But they cuddle up at night too. Some things to watch out for that Boxers are known for is their ability to pass gas, the snot they shake onto your walls from their jowls, and their sloppy kisses.

Yea he loves to drool. Mostly on me. Fortunately he doesn't sleep in bed- he sleeps in the dogbed on the floor. I had no idea they were such cool dogs. VERY glad we nixed the unfriendly sorts at the dogjail.
I can't wait to take him to petsmart. He loves stuffed toys with squeakers, fortunately I picked up a lot of leftover Christmas ones yesterday for him.
Right now my baby cat is trying to make friends with him. She has went from flying across the room with her fur up to sitting on the couch swatting him now. She's the friendly one. My poor shy boy will not come out of my bedroom.

Haha! No, there is no way in the world I would keep one of those as a pet. I was mostly just messing with April.
There is a show on National Geographic every now and then about them. They are some mean SOB's.

Does a pet frog count? I nearly killed myself jumping out of the shower the other day- a freaking HUGE slimy frog was perched on my window sill in the shower. 
I made my daughter remove it.
