Someone dropped off some old magazines at my hospital. Check out those oil change recommendations in 1963!

From the Model T owner's manual: "Supplant the motor oil in your motor car with the recommended oil weight stamped on your running boards every hour or 20 miles, whichever comes first. Then give the starting crank several rousing turns to proceed."

I'm sure Ford has updated their recommendations simply due to CAFE - had nothing to do with tolerances, filtration, improved lubricants...


What I'm lookin at is the 480 #' @ 3700rpm.
