You're right about the safety thing, especially for her since she drives quite a bit. I've been on her about it for years, and she's finally buying into it. It's not like she's afraid of guns either, she can out-shoot me with pistols.

Well that'd be the Comal or the Guadalupe she's talking about. People float down it on tubes and drink beer all day. The water in the Comal is cold, clear, and crisp because its spring fed and very short before it feeds into the Guadalupe.
We used to go all the time when I was a kid. The city had a chute that redirected the river water and we would ride the tubes through it and them drift down the river and chill out in the hot sun.
I guess people float the Guadalupe too. We used to do white water rafting on it. It's a longer bigger river that isn't a clear and clean.

We also stopped at Penshorn meat market in Marion, TX on the way out there. Some of the BEST steaks, sausage, pork in the state, and their dried and cured beef and turkey are absolutely awesome. I need to learn myself how to make that stuff.

Complete restomod from a full suspension to big brakes to a new Dart motor to new interior and finally some body work. From the outside she'll look the same other than sitting on 5 lug wheels. Probably some anthracite Forgestars as of now. And she'll be a little lower than stock.
Big plans considering I don't have any spare time and she's been sitin there since October of last year with no work done.
Complete restomod from a full suspension to big brakes to a new Dart motor to new interior and finally some body work. From the outside she'll look the same other than sitting on 5 lug wheels. Probably some anthracite Forgestars as of now. And she'll be a little lower than stock.

Got a beefed up AOD sitting in the garage
Supposed to handle 650+ torque
And I'm putting 3.73's in the rear
It's kind of gonna be a mix not totally a track car and not totally a drag car
Just one that one do well on the strip and handle good on the street
The T5 swap just wasn't gonna do it. It would need a TKO and I really didn't want to go that far. I like that its an auto. I can just get in it and punch it and try to aim it in the right direction.
