Speaking of reverse! I read an article on Deborah Harry (lead singer of the band Blondie for our younger crowd) and she is a Mustang nut. She had a '67 that the band would travel in and it got stuck in reverse. She drove it for months in reverse!!! She couldn't afford to fix it!

I'll be honest, the numbers are hella impressive, but that doesn't appeal to me. Drag racing is just not as good as flying around a corner at stoopid speeds. With 1200hp, you couldn't really even drive that on the street, and if you want a dedicated track car, buy and build one for 10-15k instead of the 100k this probably ran.
