I felt bad for the bike and its rider. But it was a huge truck though so it really just knocked it over and was on top of it

The Aurora Borealis is amazing and absolutely something to be seen.
You can also see the Aurora Australis (Southern Lights) in New Zealand and Australia (and thereabouts).

I have seen both (thanks to the USCG) and will never forget the experiences. Pictures cannot do them justice.

You can see them here every once in a while, but it's nothing like that. This was taken about 45 minutes from here over the weekend.

This is one I took a couple years ago. Could barely see it and could have used a better camera.
