My grandmother was born in New Braunfels. Her grandparents came over from Germany. They spoke German in the house but didn't dare do it in public.
My grandmother said she used to skinny dip and jump off the little dam there at the tube chute on the Comal. We used to go every summer till I left home.
Regan was at Garner the past couple of days with friends. We just picked her up last night.

Speaking of lug nuts, has anyone seen the last issue of Hot Rod magazine featuring coverage of the GT500? It shows a close up of the wheel, and the lugs are dented and beaten all to hell. You know why? The same reason I noticed on mine recently. They are cheap *** lug nuts with cheap *** aluminum covers on them to make them look like a solid lug nut.
Really? You can't put some quality solid lug nuts on your 60K dollar halo car? WTF Ford, come on now. That is getting ridiculous. Mine still look good, but the one in the magazine were dented all to hell (I'll have to find the page number later) I assume from Ford people changing brake pads and tires between runs that the magazine people were doing.
Its bad enough that they are cheap *** covered lugs to begin with, but to have Ford people beat the hell out of them and then let major magazine people photograph them up close is even worse. **** poor parts, and **** poor people that you have servicing the cars. Like I'm really going to take my car to one of your dealerships for anything when the hand picked people you have working on them **** them up.
Hot Rod made no mention of it, but I will be contacting them about it.
