My Mustangs:
#1 1965 Mustang Convertible, Red/Blk, 289 4V 4-speed. Since I was 16, this one lasted just a few months before I put it in the junkyard. RIP. (1981)
#2 Replaced #1 with a Midnight Blue 1966 Mustang Convertible, 289 2V 4-speed, blue/white pony interior. Once I had learned how to drive, this one got a 289 HiPo motor installed. Bought in 1982, sold in 1987. Last I heard, it was turning heads overseas in Norway (5F07C695178)
#3 I lost the Mustang addiction for a few years, then in 1989, I saw a 1969 Mach 1 with a for sale sign on it. It had 26,000 original miles on it. Lime Green Metallic, black interior, 351W Auto. Great car, upgraded stock wheels to Magnum 500s. Let it go in 1997, last I heard it was down under in Australia or New Zealand. (9R02M176006)
#4 Once I had the Mach 1, the addiction was back. I located the car I always wanted, a yellow 1969 BOSS 302. In 1990, it was mine. It had been drag raced by a backyard racer, had some issues and needed a restoration, but it was a solid California Car with most of the BOSS parts still intact. #4 is still in my garage today, and isn't going anywhere except to COCOA open track at Willow Springs in October.
#5 My little brother had a 1986 Saleen Mustang (#26), and had a lot of mechanical trouble with it, due to his lead foot. A good solid and fun car, I bought it from him in 1994, to take #3 Mach 1 above out of full time service. I drove the doors off of it. Sold it to a friend in 1997 or so. Thereafter, I discovered the car's unique history -- it was the Official Pace Car at Saugus Speedway here in California for the 1986 season, leading NASCAR Winston West races and many others. When my friend got a divorce in 2006, I got the car back (see below), in need of a complete restoration. The restoration is underway as we speak.
#6 I was one of the first to have a 2005 Mustang GT (S197). Put 50,000 quick miles on it, ran out the warranty, and sold it in 2007. It looked and ran just as good as the day I bought it!
#7 See #5 above. Since I have owned this car twice, I figure I should list it twice. So here it is, hope to have the Saleen back on the road sometime in 2009.

Wow! I feel small and inadequate compared to some of you!
My only Mustang is also my first car. I bought it from the widow whose husband had bought it new.
1969 Mustang Coupe 302 2V, C-4 automatic, Meadowlark Yellow w/black interior, disc brakes/power steering/AC. I wasn't a huge fan of the color originally, but it has slowly grown on me. According to the Marti report, only about 9500 '69 Mustangs sported this color out of a total of almost 300,000 made.
Nothing terribly exciting, but I like her. She makes a good driver, but someday I hope to have her restored.

1981 Mustang Cobra - 4.2L V8 (swapped it for a '79 302) with C4 auto, orange with T-tops - bought it a few weeks after I turned 18 and swapped the engine myself out of a '79 Cobra parts car I bought
1989 Mustang LX 5.0 - 5-spd, red with sunroof, bought it from the original owner, a 50 year old woman school bus driver who I passed on the way to work every day, she put 100k miles on it in 4 years and only changed the oil, tires (once) and brakes on the car. I put 50k miles on it, and sold it to a close friend who put another 35k miles on it, when he sold it with 185k miles it still had the original clutch
2001 Mustang Bullitt - DHG, bought it a little over two years ago and have autocrossed it since then, it only has 34k miles on it
2008 Mustang GT - Vapor, first Mustang I bought new (in June), it currently has a little over 400 miles on it

Oh, lookie what thread I found!
In order, my Mustangs are:
1978 Mustang II V6 Hatchback, Tangerine with Tan. Blew everything, was fixed multiple times, but the tranny was the last straw for my dad. Why do you think it was called The Orange Bomb?
1966 Mustang Coupe Sprint 200, Red Metallic with Black interior, but then became Muskrat. You can read that below.
1987 Mustang SVO, Black on Black. Fun little car, fairly good utility... But blew the head gasket and wasn't the same afterwards. Just called her the SVO, 'cause that was what she was.
The Awesome, my current.
There ya go!

It doesn't look like much right now. I've got the marti report for it and plan to restore it. This one may stick around as I also think when finished it is going to be a real head turner.
