People either 'get it' and laugh (especially those that know me), or ask "who's initials are those?" It's not as funny when you have to explain it.

Dude, around here schoolbusses are 40feet long, bright yellow, have flashing red lights, fold out stop signs, and STROBE lights on them... and people still hit them. Leave the amer lights on the euro's.

Yeah. My little sister did that once. In a parking lot.

Dude, without any striping, you need a blackout panel... especially with the black taillight bezels!

Dude,
Actually the black out panel does not look as good as the bare back end. Balck out panels also look cheap to me.

To each his own. High performance cars from the 60's traditionally had taillight blackout panels. Mopar, Chevy and Ford all did it and I love it on all these cars. In fact, I even like it on a car with striping. It breaks up the striping in the rear, similar to what the black front grille does on the front. Too much white on the back of the left car. A nice balance on the other.

I like the way the blackout panel makes the back end not look so 'tall', especially w/ a ducktail or spoiler.
