It varies state to state. Look up your states DMV web page and they probably have a registration calculator

Are you asking about license plates or something else?

Nobody could tell you because we don't know where you're from for one thing and if we did only those who are from there too might know.

In Texas, plates for all cars cost about the same other than some differences in some fees from county to county.

Sales tax on purchase price for MI plus yearly tax rates be my guess. Look at your county/state dmv website for an approximation. Plug into google if no luck but don't expect us to do your math

Go to the Michigan DMV website, they'll have something there that will tell you all the fees

I have a '13 and don't remember how much the initial cost was but my renewal this year was $179 which includes $15 (I believe) for personalized plates. The other variable is whether you get one of the numerous special plates they now have. I got the standard blue and white plate.

Michigan plates are charged on the basis of value for the car. Go to Michigan.gov then Secretary of State and you should find an estimator. But you will need to know the sticker value of the car

I know South Carolina is pretty expensive. It's because they have the extra tax for your cars and not just your tags. You can't get your tags without first paying the tax. Between my two cars it would've been close to $1700 per year for the tax. Then around 100 for the registration for the two. I was exempt from the tax while I was there so it didn't phase me but when I retire and go back there I will have to plan accordingly.
