Me neither. I got craig's custom and then took it off and keep it in the trunk. Cops don't really care

I had the motorized one on my last car. It was awesome when new! Needed a little more power but it still worked! I had the remote control one. So! You get pulled over and by the time he walks up to the front of your car... Well I'll be... I could've swore it wasn't there a second ago!...

The problem with it... is occasionally, drive ramps get the best of low cars. Sad... but it happens. It got scraped, bent the little rail, and wouldn't ever work the same again. Plus it began rusting and would hang on itself. It'd be great if installed within the lower grille... but on the bottom, time took it's toll. So, until May when I won't have to commute to across the state every week, I'll have my permanent one on. I still have it and when I have time, I'll probably do some custom fab on it to make it work better.

So, my car got towed Saturday (I'm gone for five minutes; crossed some invisible line between the stores that pay the tow company and the stores that are considered "off their lot") and they managed to break the front license bracket.

I looked into Craig's but his site says his brackets won't fit a '13 with the MCA billet lower grille, and since I'm putting that in next week I guess it's back to AM for a replacement flip-down.

Is the towing company paying the bill?

Nah. "Towed at owner's risk and expense" is the standard practice, per posted signage. If they'd damaged the car in any other way I might hire a lawyer - but that's no way to recover forty bucks.

I just put the Craigs Custom on my front last week to get my inspection sticker.

The State Patrol can get really picky about that here in Washington State, so I installed mine on the lower grill.

It's bolted on so it's not going anywhere and won't rub on the paint, and it shows the plate number and state name so I should not get any flack.

Interesting. He's probably costing himself at least a couple of sales by misstating that.
As it stands right now, I will not offer a bracket for the 2013 V-6 and Boss Laguna Seca Model Mustangs. With the slight design change of the lower grill from 2012 to 2013, when mounted, the bracket sits too low on the bumper cover. I may revisit a new bracket design for the 2013 V-6 and Boss Laguna Seca at a later date. Note: This bracket will not work on cars with a factory optioned or aftermarket billet style grill installed in the lower air dam.
If it does in fact work, he might appreciate knowing that.
