Then when DMV SUX gets denied for being offensive, Rebel can complain that he's being denied free speech. Normally I'd say that's a load of crap, but free speech specifically means freedom to speak out against the government, and DMV SUX is just that.

I would re-apply your first choice. That happened to me. I applied for SMOKE U and they denied it. Then I replied for SMOKE U1 and made up some bs story and they approved it. I guess it just matters whats type of person or I guess what mood their in when they read it. Maybe you'll get lucky. I think DVLSH GT is "cooler" than your first choice.

Checking oplates.com (ohio's online licence plate website) I got DMV SUX "available" but OHIO SUX was flagged inappropriate. They also listed this disclaimer:
PLEASE NOTE: All personalized or initial license plates are subject to approval. If you are applying for a personalized or initial license plate it may appear to be approved when ordering, however, each plate must be approved by a committee before it is issued. Ohio Revised Code section 4503.10(E) grants the Registrar of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles the authority to revoke license plates that were issued fraudulently or in error.

I am in utter disbelief folks. The DMV, after 12 WEEKS, notifies me that they rejected my plates because they may be offensive or indecent. To top it off, they tell me that it will take 10 WEEKS to credit me back.
Is it just me, or has this political correctness bullsh** gone way too far?
Here are the plates I requested:
DEVL PNY
What is so bad about that ??? That was the whole theme of my car with the red and black and now because some puritan ***** at the DMV didn't like my plates I gotta start all over.

According to the new era of govenrment God doesn't exist right. Separation of church and state. So what does the government care if you have a devil plate. You've seen those college license plates each state has. Well I guess in North Carolina and Arizona nobody can have a Duke or ASU plate. How about a Deamon Deacon, I think that offends both groups. I would say if Arizona State can have a freakin' mascot you can have a license plate. Oh no don't look now someone somewhere might be eating devil's food cake!
