About as close to a Mustang-shaped time capsule as we've seen.

I recall one selling well north of a hundred on Mecum recently. May have been that one, I think it was black too.

I believe this GM equivalent sold for a price in the $80's so I put $80,000 in the poll.

For a fox body Cobra, I would pay no more than $60k even if it had never been driven... Why would anybody in their right mind pay $145k for a fox body Cobra when current 2023 GT500 models have a starting MSRP of $78,500... From someone who previously owned a "93" fox body Cobra for 10 years... Despite that only 4993 units were ever built, not counting the 107 Cobra "R" models, they were nevertheless only modified with GT/40 upper/lower intakes and heads, 73mm throttle body, 4-wheel disc brakes and modified suspension that made 235HP at the crank... Perhaps for a brand new 1993 fox body Cobra "R" may be worth up to 145k, but for the regular production models,145k is way over the top IMHO...

Personally I wouldn't even pay 40k, In order for a car to be special to me there has to be a special attachment (like a 69-70 Boss or Mach 1) which the Fox Body car does give me.

I agree. I'd rather have a 1969 Boss 302 car that dominated Trans-Am road racing.back then.

It should sell for whatever someone is willing to pay.

Not for me though. I buy them to drive them every day.

If I were going to pay 145k for a special edition Mustang, it would be the 1967 Shelby GT500!

1967 Shelby GT500
