Well...the engine is in, and WOW this little car of mine looks TOUGH! I added that front valance over the winter, and this is the first time I've seen the car at ride height with it!!!

Quick tech question...

Does the "H" or "X" pipe really add anything? Contemplating a purchase of a UPR "X" pipe. Seems like a simple enough power enhancer.

Well, already had an "intro" post awhile back, & pics posted in the Fox froum, but this is a great place to show her off too, these pics were taken back in march of 06, but apart from a bath, she is identical. Best $1,200 I ever spent.

and with the engine washed, & water in the carb

Cool Finally Posting Pics In This Thread!!!!

I finally had some good sunny weather to take some good pics today! Plus I finally got to wash it! The first pic is of when I got it almost a year ago, man what a change! The last pic is from last week when I got my wheels, and the two other pics I took today after I washed it!! I still got a lot to do! The pics don't really pic up every little detail if you know what I mean! Well, here they are!!

Man, its amazing what paint, wheels and a few little custom touches can do to a bone stock 2.3L. Nice job! I love what you've done with it

Still a work in progress, whoever owned her before me really didn't do the best job at redoing her but, I'll use that as a starting point. Ok maybe things don't work, stereo fell out of the dash AND wiring was duct taped together but its solid with no rust. After coming home from work after a long day and I have the top down, I really don't worry about it.

This was my first '83 my Dad helped me buy in '86. I wish he was here to take a spin with me in the convertible.... he'd love it!
