I just change the spark plugs on my 1990 and i gapped them at .054 now when im in first and in second if i slam the pedal to the medal once i get up to like 3.5 rpm its bogs down mo power. i can not redline it in first and second it just drops rpm once i get that high. maybe even third have not got it there yet.any suggestions.
One of the only surviving pics I have of it. I crudely paintbrushed out the front plate.....She was a 93 GT 5 speed with gray leather and no roof. Power seats, windows, locks, (mirrors?) and cruise and stock cassette player almost entirely stock with the exception of minor things I added: K&N air filter, Flowmaster American Thunder catback, tinted windows, Cobra grille insert, and in this pic headlight and foglight covers .
Bought used in 97 or 98 near the end of HS and sold about 5 years later.....To this day I regret selling. I vow to someday own a Fox body again as a summer toy.
I have a 93 LX 5.0 convertible in vibrant red that is a stick shift, and black leather interior. I know the stick is semi rare but black interior in a convertible is very rare. I have called Ford Motor Company and searched all over the net and cannot find any numbers of cars with this combo. I am sure there are mnore than mine but I think I saw 458 red conv. in 1993 in LX models but thats all I could find.
Anyone know of any resources that may have this info?

87 Vert; originally white w/ blue interior and top. Previous owner converted to triple black, otherwise car was a stock automatic w leather, a/c. Only mods were:
5 lug, Cobra brakes, wheels, Eibachs and Flowmaster catback
Acquired Dec 2010.
4 yrs hundreds of hours and stacks of cash later: PSP stroker motor, MM coil over suspension, seam welded chassis:
Car Weighs 3500lbs with driver and fuel, made 444 rwhp/380rwtq at 6500/5500 rpm on Dynojet chassis in March 2015.
333 cid stock block, N/A carbed, no power adder, 10.6:1 compression ratio.
Trying to hold off on the mods since the fact it so stock is what makes this car special. Replaced the wheels and carpet and a few worn parts here and there, but it was a one owner car when I bought it last year. Little old NASA engineer that took meticulous care of it, but enjoyed driving it too! License plate reads "25THANNI"
Here's some pictures of my 1984 GT350 with only 22k original miles in unmolested unaltered original condition. No modifications whatsoever. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan and bought this car online at Gateway classic cars. I take delivery of it this November 2017. I paid 13k for it.
