Amazing!!!
Another collector that treated his cars like a numismatist. Look but don't touch!
I voted to sell for top $$$ and get a new 2024 GT convertible. I think the Cobra R would sell for that kind of money. If not, one heck of a down payment.

Would like to know where it is or where it came from. There was a guy in my area that had 7 of them in that condition, but it's been 10 years ago since I heard anything about them. Could likely be one of those.

I voted for option number 3.
Gently revive it and drive very sparingly.

I barely have any time for myself these days. My friend has a 2 post and a 4post in his garage, so hopefully before it becomes driving season, I can get it done,

Thank you for kind words my brother.

I'll pass om the 2000 Cobra R which has an engine that would be difficult if not impossible to work on.

The current 2024 Ford Mustang has more HP, better handling, and easier parts to find. The first car to use the fourth-generation Coyote V-8, the Mustang GT is good for 480 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque (The Cobra R has 100 less HP).

If you offered to give me a choice of a brand new 2000 r or a brand new Dark Horse, I'd take the r in a minute.

No problem. I am mostly a 1995 Cobra R guy myself. I owned a stock one for 25 years.

I have also owned and raced the Steeda Stars and Stripes car:

Those were the good old days.

Oh, I know. Extremely envious. Main reason for my decision is I already have a new one, but covet the rare cars. I'd choose the new one if offered if it wasn't for already having one
