Overall Not Bad, Obviously This Guy Makes Vids For Financial Compensation as Evidenced By Just a Bit Too Many Ads Although Most Were Car Relevant!

First Thing He Should Have Came on Mustang Source and Found The Other Way of Repairing The Droopy Door Inserts. HA HA! I Think He Could Have Left The Gt-500 Splitter on But Think The Return To Stock Suspension and Replacing The Lights Was a Good Move.

I Did Not Care For The Nice Wheels & New Tires Having The Cruddy Looking Brake Calipers Still at Hand! Some Flat Black Would Have Done Wonders. Detailing is Great But Disappointed He Did Not Do More of That Himself! I Would Have Liked To See Some Better Shots of The Car Underneath and in Engine Compartment for a Better Feel of Overall Condition of The Car.

The Story & emotions of Selling The Car Hit Home as Many Times Back in The Day I Would Decide To Sell One of The Fleet and Get Her Out of Mothballs & Road Ready & Suddenly What Am I Thinking I Can't Sell This!

Anyhoo, This is For Fun and Thought Reflection Especially For Those Who Have Sold or are Thinking of Selling a Car You are Attached To!

Surely Everybody Will Have a Bit of a Different Take on This You May Love It or You May Hate It or Just Middle of The Road! No Harm No Foul Just a Bit of Siskel & Ebert Fun!

Enjoy,

Kc

I would have initially just clean the darn thing and try to sell it as is...then, if no bites start "de-moddding". One of the things I do at the car shows is chat with people about their cars. At the last show I went, a few rows from me was a good looking, heavy-ly modified car (non-mustang). So, I approached the owner and asked him to tell me about this car...to my surprise he stated that he has just purchased the car "as is" was about 6 months ago. I was very surprised to hear that...was thinking that he must be the exception to the rule. But, what the heck, if I were to sell my 06, which I dont plan to (already in my will and testament for my grandson ), I would try to sell "as is" initially. Then think about de-modding later on. My 2 cents...

Knowing the seller slept in this car for a week and has 188k miles, I'm actually surprised he got $6,500... Perhaps the seller figured by putting the car back to stock, it would increase the value...
But then again, look at what it cost the seller to return his Mustang back to stock, to begin with... Therefore, was it really worth putting in the investment, just in order to return back to stock prior to selling...

Even if the seller had sold his Mustang for less than the $6,500 he got for it, he more than likely could have made up the difference by just selling the car as is... But, he could also make up to another $500.00 for the aftermarket suspension parts, if there's enough interest...

I'm Just Happy To See a Young Buck On His Way To Trade School in His S-197 Which Happens To Be Just Like My First Black S-197! Also He Was About My Late Sons Age So I Related To That!

Yeah, Donut is a pretty big channel on youtube, he's just one of the presenters. They do a lot of ads to pay all their writers, editors, film crews, hosts, and of course their management. They actually just had 3 hosts leave because they helped build it up to what it is during CoVID and thought they'd have more of a say in what they covered. But the channel is owned by a private equity firm and their management didn't see eye to eye with them on what sort of things they should do videos on. They have a lot of good stuff out there (and some corporate shill 'let's review the 10 worst automotive products on Amazon'). They're doing a series called 'Hi/Lo' where they have two of the same car and one gets all cheap parts, and the other gets all the good (and expensive) stuff. They've done a few different cars (usually imports), but this season they're doing 2015 Mustangs and setting them up for drag racing. I liked what they did with their 350Z and Tacomas, so this should be a pretty good show.

I've seen the plastic door cards on American Muscle and I see the appeal if you don't want to keep re-doing your door leather. I kinda wish theyd focused on them a little bit more so you could see how well they actually fit.

Yeah overall I liked it. Kinda disappointed to see his '06 go, it was always a highlight for me when it'd show up in their videos. And I had to laugh out loud with that internal debate he was having about selling it and trying to talk the kid out of it -- rang so true for me (except I gave into it and just dumped five figures into my engine)
