My buddy inherited his father's 1957 "E" bird (312 with dual carbs) which had been in the garage since 1966 and with 28K original miles it still had original 1957 air in the tires!

 

In 2009, I was stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. Titus-Will Ford dealership, in Tacoma, had a new 2009 KR, that looked exactly as the one in the article for $179K. It had an insane mark-up and I thought the dealer was also insane for it....but, how wrong was I....the thing was sold 2 weeks later.

I agree with you...this one will not go over $100K. Maybe, $70-$80K, but not sure.
