Let's Take a Moment to Remember the Mach 40

This is what happens when you combine a GT40 and a Mustang.

Oh, it's not THAT bad. Unlike a lot of the things that get posted. I kinda like it, actually, with the one exception of the rear vent panel between the tail lamps, and the use of the '69 tail lamps instead of those (Ned Flanders) (Ned Flanders) '67 or '68 tail lamps.

I mean, it's no belle of the ball except probably performance, but it's not like it should be a wallflower either, y'know? For what my opinion's worth (.0634 cents I think these days?)

 

Yes yes it is but once again that's only IMHO.

 

I like it some. The rear looks unfinished

 

That's quite a creation. Must have cost a small fortune.
For much less $$ I think I'll stick to my R/T which isn't horribly far off (looks-wise) from the side angle.

I'll take @NC07GTCS Challenger. I do love the '69 Mustangs, but that Mach 40 just looks very weird. I too agree with @Mustang Freak

Well , Far Be it For Me To Think Differently But With The Upgrade Gt-40 Wheels I Think it Would Look Great. Some Similar Stripes as Well Would Be Nice! The Ford Gt is Just Beautiful and Definetely a Dream Car For Me! So How Can I Not Like a Cousin! Oh And These Days Getting In and Out of The Mach 40 Would be a Lot More Doable For Me Vs The FORD GT! Yep The Wheels That's Ticket!
