I recently had a Genesis owner pull up and offer to run me. I said no thanks. He then proceeded to say "I've got a 3.7 and you've got a 5.0." "I'll be right on your @ss!"
I said well "hope you like it because that's where you'll stay."

I took it as a compliment as MANY people think my car is a V6 or the 2010 4.6. (My car is the 12 GTCS - no fogs, no 5.0 badges, and running pony on gas cap.)

Sadly, People are idiots and thrive on hatred. I've been thumbed down for no reason and had the same laughing crap as you. Really, psychologically, that's how you know you look good. No one says a word- positive or negative if they really didn't give a shlt!

 

I've never had any negative feedback or people giving the thumbs down in my car. On the contrary I have only had compliments as people really like the red with the black wheels combination.

 

Perhaps all you people getting the thumbs down is because of your driving and not your car...

 

I have never had negative feedback either... Lots of thumbs up or "nice ride" at a stop light (especially if I have the top down)... I have loved Mustangs since I was a kid and I love driving them! IDGAF what anyone else thinks! If they don't like it, that's on them! Not me... It's sad that a few a$$hats have to tarnish the brand, but that doesn't reflect on me just because I drive the same car... Just like all BMW drivers aren't a$$hats... But hey, they DGAF either! LOL!

I sorry that I drive a Mustang that is actually FUN, now if people want to make fun of it that fine, just do it in my presence, not behind my back, I mean I don't make fun of the camarros or challengers behind their backs...oh and F any one who says I should drive like a nut (most Chevey drivers and Dodge drivers local to me are the ones who drive like dip wads that need to relearn how to read and drive...) I remember when breaking the 14 second barrier in a mustang was a big deal. Now there making cars with 600-700hp. It's getting out of hand.

 

I love my 07. Its fun to drive and has enough power to leave most ppl eating my dust.
