"All special 4V 351C M-Code Mustangs were equipped with the C-6 auto gearbox and a B&M shifter to handle its muscle."
They did NOT come with a B&M shifter, no Mustang ever did. Its aftermarket and probably from the 80's or 90's by the looks of it.
"Look at the pictures, it as factory-new looking as you can get."
Wrong again. The steering wheel isn't original, the door panels aren't original, and the seats aren't original (look like they're from something late model) and whoever thought that god-awful red velour looked good must have still been stoned from the 70's when they decided to add that in the 80's.
Does anyone who runs this place know anything at all about Mustangs?

IMHO people always rag on the Mustang 2, I think these were worse!

The engine was produced for NASCAR rankings for league small block.
It is a very desirable car.

Pintos are for Charlie's angels.
The 351C M is a beast. I could tear down vettes and the H version 2v. Would match any camaro

I bought a 1971 351 Cleveland 4v Mach I Mustang, presumably M code, in December, 1970, when I got home from my all expense paid trip to the sunny jungles of South Vietnam. It was equipped with the 4 spd manual transmission, complete with Hurst shifter. Not quite sure where the info on auto transmission only came from. This was purchased new, from the dealer's showroom floor in Waterloo, IA.
