I am really bored with Eleanor. It's become so cliche and it irks me that the car is referred to as a GT500.
I guess I'm a traditionalist at heart. For the money spent on building an Eleanor, one could create a very accurate GT350/500 clone or tribute car. I have no problem with resto-mods either as long as body/wheels/interior remain stock appearing.
I love the looks of a classic Mustang, Camaro, Challenger/'Cuda, and other cars from the era...their designs were perfect for the time and still hold up well today. It pains me to see 'em goobered up.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and regardless of how I see them, it's the owner's car and money and he/she is free to do whatever. But that style just doesn't float my boat. If I see a restored or survivor Mustang next to an Eleanor or an in-you-face resto-mod, I'll gravitate towards the classic.

Two things...
1. There were two Eleanors. Since I can't see the pic, I'll assume it's a yellow 1973 fastback with custom Mach I markings because yes, I'm tired of the remake Eleanor.
