I kinda need some advice on adjusting the steering adjustment bolt on my 73 convert, the steering is too tight and does not steer back on turns, thought anyone?

 

loosten the jamb nut on top of the box then turn the adjusting screw out a bit .. iv`e read all manner of thoughts on this being effective or not and in my experience with doing it it never took slack out of a loose box .. it just made the box harder to turn .. hence the term " tightning " the steering ..
