They never made a Mach 1 that was not a fastback to my knowledge. Like the L-Man said these things could have been added. If you like it the way it is drive it that way I'm sure it's a nice looking ride. It really comes down to what you are doing with it making it concourse correct or doing a mod. If it would me I would leave the ram air scoop on there weather it was on there originally or not. They look awesome. It really is up to you.

Any who hope your resteration goes well adn send us some pics when you get a chance.

Nothing unusual. The "NACA" hood was available on all body styles, but was only functional on H-code 351-2V cars. The stripe package was part of the Decor Group in 73, and was available on all body styles.

The Magnum 500 wheel was discontinued in 1973, although they were often added later. The forged aluminum wheel was available along with 3 different possible hubcaps. Get a Marti Report to be sure how your car was originally equipped. 30 yearold Mustang tend to have modifications added over time... B)

if it is an H-code it is a 351-2v and the ram air was only available on the 351-2v, it doesn't matter what body style it was, you could get the ram air on the coupe, vert and fastback

The H code 351C-2bbl was available on any bodystyle during those years. It was not a Mach1-exclusive engine.
