ISO Rear Louver - Molded Acrylic

Hey MII fans, I'm in search of rear hatchback louvers for my '78 King Cobra that fit inside the metal window molding. Like the photo attached. The style I've seen is made of acrylic and not metal. Let noise and rattle...

LMK if you have seen these for sale OR if you're willing to sell with hardware included.

Thanks! C

Welcome,

If You Could Figure Out Who The Original Manufacturer Was & a Part Number It Would Help For an Online Search. Also Per Se If You Knew It Was a Sears 0549 Louver Kit as A Made Up Example You Can Do a Saved Search on Ebay and if One Ever Gets Listed You Would Get an Email. I Seem To Recall Louvers Were Often Listed in The Little Ad's in The Back Of a Hot Rod Type Magazine. If You Know Anybody With Some 1980's Magazines You Might Take a Look! Now That I Say That I Do Have A Lot of Those Myself Stored Away But Not Too Buried. I Will Browse a Few & See If I Can Come Up With a Brand & Number!

Even Better Would be a Performance Parts Catalog From The 80's Like PAW Performance Automotive Wholesale or JC Whitney Catalog. Got Those Too But a Big Where on Those! If Anybody Has Some Vintage Late 70's-80's Catalogs & Would Take a Look That Would Be Great!

Funny Back in The Day Everybody Wanted The Original Style Aluminum Louvers For The Earlier Cars & The Plastic Ones Were Not Looked on Favorably, Anyhoo Just Something I Remembered! But If you Want To Find Plastic Than We Shall Try!

NOTE TO MODS Leave Here Do Not Move To Parts Wanted Yet!

I Did Find a Listing From an Online 1985 JC Whitney Catalog. They Use The Term Sun Shield. I Would Say It's Their Part Number Vs Manufacturer Number But is Interesting Info. 18-8707B
