I found a 1978 Mustang in the local paper for $450.... I told my mom bout it and she is considering buying it...

 

any more info? is it a mach, cobra II or a king? 4,6 or 8? what color?sedan or fastback?

 

It is a fastback, with a 289 & c4 tranny outta older stang.... the guy said it had louvers & hood scoop but didn't know if it was a spec. edition he didn't mention a color

If you need mom to come up with the $450 you might wanna reconsider buying it...old mustangII are gonna need a few bucks to fix up or even keep running...and i cant imagine a II for that price is gonna be in very good shape?...could you post any pics of it?

hey its not all bad. do what i did, get a job at a car place, like goodyear or sumthin, that way you get paid, get to be near cars AND learn new stuff!
