"78" Mustang II/King Cobra

Nice random shot of my good friends 78 King Cobra.... Dont see them very much so I thought would share...

Has a very custom cover and inside his garage... It really is one of the nicest Mustangs I have seen! Thanks for all the comments...

You know I had completely forgotten that my Cobra II had the flip open rear quarter windows... Now I recall opening those all the time!

For Mustang II's, The color was called Bright Red (code 2R).

Lipstick Red was a color name offered on 1977-78 Thunderbirds. Lipstick Red for 1977 was code 2U. In 1978 it switch to code 2R which is the same as the Mustang II's Bright Red.
