Took it to a car show where we ended up with about 15 Mustangs in our group at one point, plus a few other stragglers around the parking lot.
And we played a little prank on a Camaro owner that's been hanging out with us at the last 4-5 shows we go to. He was cool about it and got a kick out of it

I took mine to a mustang shown shine tonight and remembered to bring folding chairs this time. I also brought my detailing kit and quick waxed the whole car with macguires ultra quick detailer, and have never seen the blue look so deep. shared stories with a fella who's 2010 blue convertible was hit by a tire ON a wheel that came off an acura heading the opposite way at about 100. the projectile took off most of his front end. he just got it back from the shop this week and it looks great. no structural damage he said. he seemed inspired by my '13 and is thinking really hard about upgrading (with wife's permission lol).
p.s. i MUST avoid the chili dogs.

I went on a 600+ mile road trip to Western Germany near the France border to see a couple of friends of mine that live there. They just had a baby and his sister and mother were there visiting for the month. I haven't seen then in over 20 years and hadn't seen his sister in almost 10 so it was nice to see them all. We enjoyed the 4th of July festivities here for the Armed Forces and ate tons of good food and drank lots of beer. I just got back last night and the final tally is 2 1/2 tanks of gas, 7 Bratwurst, 11 steins of beer (1Liter), 2 Krispy Cream donuts, lots of coffee, 2 packs of smokes, time lost in the mountains (2 1/2 hours thanks to Siri), 100+ pictures taken, 4 miles walked through the old city of Kaiserslautern. I traveled 268 miles in 3 hours , 41 minutes on the way back to my casa. I only got passed by a 911 Turbo Vert, 911 4S, Panamera 4S, BMW Alpina B7 (when this guy hit the gas I could hear the turbos spool with my window cracked an inch while I was smoking).

Today I drove it, I rotated the driveshaft so the shaft now mounts one turn to the right onto the trans flange, hoping to eliminate my 95+ vibes, drove it again, kept wondering what the torque spec is for those front driveshaft bolts.

Thanks. Gabe....I would hope you knew that when you took the thing apart. What sort of vibration were you getting? I am planning on getting one sometime and can't be having vibrations while I'm going much faster than that my friend.

Steve.......these cost me just £15 (free postage in the UK). If you're interested, I'll PM you the eBay link. I know the seller, he spends about 6 months in Florida and 6 months over here in the UK, and he brings goodies like this back with him. I'm sure he'd post to Germany if you wanted.
That's assuming you can't get them cheaper elsewhere

When I went to loosen the first bolt and I needed a breaker bar to do it, I realized the torque spec must be higher.
I plan on installing a driveshaft safety loop very soon and I'll re-torque the bolts then.
Plus, I may have to rotate it again if the vibes aren't gone yet.
For now I went as tight as I could by hand, which is probably very close to the actual spec, if not a bit over.
Yesterday I wasn't able to test it out properly, I only touched 100 for a brief second.
The vibes start at 95-100 and can be felt through the whole car but mostly the floorpan/rear of the car.
I want to track the car soon, and I really want the vibes gone before then, and I want the car to be wearing that safety loop I mentioned above.
