I took the 500 out for a spin yesterday. First time I'd been in it in over a month. Last time I drove it, it was 90 degrees and humid as hell. It was 70 yesterday and dry as a bone outside, not to mention that I hadn't had a taste of power in a long time. When I stood on it, holy crap this thing was fast. **** I love this car so much. Docile as a kitty cat when puttering around, but viscous as a tiger when you stand on the loud pedal.

Its nice to see what happens when you've been away from it for a while. Really killer car, makes you rethink things when you get on it. WOOT.

One of the best cars I've ever driven. Love this freakin' thing.

I try and take mine for a spin around town once a week at least. It's been at least two now. Lol. My car hates the hot weather though. This fall and winter she will see a lot more abuse.

I don't drive it in the rain, and I damned sure don't want to drive it through the Love Bugs which would destroy the front end down there.

I swear, this thing feels like it picked up 100 hp over what it had when I left and the temps were 90+ and the humidity was as well.

It was like a completely different car when I got in it after being away and the weather changing like it did.

Yup. That cold air wakes her up for sure. Really wish I could take her to work every once in a while but the crap falling out the sky here will ruin black paint.

I know what you mean, mine is black too. Luckily mine is just a toy that only comes out in fair weather, I have other **** to drive every day.

I get so pissed at the ol' lady about her Honda's. I tried to buy her an Audi that I liked (twice), but she wanted another Accord both times. Because according to her "Hondas last forever". Really? She's had about 4 of them, but none of them have ever had more than 50K miles or so when she got a new one. Seriously? The biggest piece of **** on earth will last 50K miles. I've told her my Exploders have 180K and 220K on them respectively, when you drive one of your Hondas that many miles I'll agree that its a good car, but when you get rid of them at 60K for a new one, as far as I'm concerned its a piece of ****, especially with all the recalls and **** that has been replaced on it (axles, front seats, rotors, brake pads, transmissions, etc. )

My wife drove my 95 Impalla SS for years. Really miss that car but it was finally time to let it go. She's been in her suburban forever. Don't think she'll be letting go of it anytime soon either. I refuse to clean that big SOB though. Fantastic truck.

These ****ers that like to rail on about how Hondas and Toyotas lasts forever, get down to the nitty gritty with them about how long their new ones have lasted. I'd wager that they drive them 100K miles and consider that some kind of miracle. American cars last that long or more easily nowadays, I get so pissed off at that crap that any Jap car is better. Really? You drive those ****ers 60K miles and trade it and think its a good car? OK, sure, whatever you think.

Very strange. Just fed the herd and while I was out I felt like 100 drops of something fall on me from the sky. Bizarre. It was some kind of liquid. I could hear it hitting the barn roof as well. Does anyone know what this substance is? I can't figure it out. Was it water from the sky? Couldn't be. Might have to call NASA in the morning to find out what this was. Most unusual.

Yup. I remember I was at GM when they first started offering 100k mile power train warranties. We just laughed because they already knew that it wouldn't really cost them much at all. Don't remember what year the cafe regulations kicked in but the vehicles they produced right before them were built to go forever.
