What makes you think small venues are like that?

I think I'd have a panic attack if I was stuck in a crowd like that.

Out here they have upscale theatre's and top notch outdoor venues, as well as bar type clubs - depends what you choose.
The Craterian (Ginger Rogers theatre), Ross Ragland, Historic Rogue Theatre, Britt Fest, Wineries, etc. etc. are very nice - affordable, great acoustics, some assigned seating - everything except the smelly stadium crowd you seem to like.

There's a dry casino on the other side of the cities (an hour away) that I've been to few concerts at. Just wish they'd turn it up a little. I want to come out of a concert not being able to hear anything. Funny thing is, loudest concert I've ever been to was the AI tour back in 2007.

I really don't like the new staging lights. I must be old school because the 2 bulb set up just makes sense to me.

Uproar Tour, Mayhem Festival.

Wait for them to come to you. And you shall be happy. 98Rockfest here was part of Mayhem, and I was at Uproar in August. Amazing

I love the city too, but hate the business part.

I have to be up at 5am each day meetings start at 7am and go till 6pm then dinner. We have to do everything as a group, there are 45 of us. It's like hell week.

Bathe? That would be uncomfortable, at least for me.

Just be thankful you're not a fudge packer. I can't imagine that kind of pain.

Take up smoking for a week. No one will want to hang with you and you get a fix now and then.

Make sure you go to the Big River Brewery (across for the Hard Rock) and get the meatloaf. It's awesome!

It is beyond me why someone would take ground beef, form it into a loaf and then put it in a bread pan and bake it. Why not just make meat *****, why a loaf of meat?

Trust me. That meatloaf is worth the loafness.
