I'm using the stock rotors that came with the GT500 take off brakes. Using slotted rotors would cost me another $500 for the front set. I'm just happy to have the bigger rotor and caliper.

Looks good Gary. Glad you're finding some time to do stuff for yourself.

On a side note, these people are going to hell.

Thanks Lee. Gotta work on the cars while I can. Soon I'll be busy at the house.

We had to haul in 110 truckloads of fill dirt for the foundation. My house will be at least 18" higher than my neighbors. But the lot was kind of low and I wanted to make sure I'd be high an dry. We should have a foundation by next weekend.

And yes. Those people are going to hell. But then again so am I. I hope we are on different levels though.

LOL, I bet the neighbors are loving you right now, after running all those trucks through there and the mud and dust that comes with it.

And why in the heck has nobody created a universal sarcasm font for the the intarwebz?

I knew I should have taken a picture of jack stands in use when I fixed my lug stud. Very stable, I was likin' it. I will definately invest in some, or continue to freeload off my friend

They are already buzzing that I'm gonna come in there and increase their property taxes. The area has homes that are about 30 or 40 years old and they range from 2000-3000 sq.ft. Well I'm coming in there with a 3,500 sq.ft. house thats all new with nice amenities and they think that the value of my house will increase their property values and therefore their property taxes.

I don't give a ****. I'm hoping their old houses bring down my property value and give me low taxes for many years. But I doubt the county tax man and I will see eye to eye on that one.

After reading that other post about how the guy had a car on him, I had jackstands, wheel chocks, ramps, and 2 jacks. And I wasn't even under the car.

I'm glad the guy is OK, but does MSN not know the difference between a rifle and a shotgun?

Thats why I dont wish to have neighbors. My only current ones are my parents so they dont bug us that much. id prefer a few hundred acres to myself.

Done quite a few things today to my sister's Aerio SX. Put both inner fender liners, new front pads, and the right side ground effect flare was put back properly with new clips and a few screws, so it won't be hanging with a piece of rope any longer But the suckish part is that we spent close to $40 on plastic clips alone Some of those clips were $2.50 ea and we needed seven of those. I also checked the rear brake shoes.

Also the guy with the modded 95 eclipse GST called again to arrange another meeting to check out if we trade cars It has some minor issues, but the only one I'm interested is in the Garret ball bearing turbo it has

its a free country, build whatever house you want

I remember back in high school pete (not cntchds) was telling me that this guy wanted to install an automatic gate for his rather large house. it was not gaudy, just a simple automatic gate. but because of some stupid homeowners association in the area he wasn't allowed to. that kinda shocks me. HE owns that property. HE is paying for it. and he is doing NO harm to the rest of the community, but he's not allowed to because some old folks dont like what HES doing with HIS home

People suck
