Yeah, we've been married a long time.

And, I couldn't do without a truck. Although I don't use one as a truck as much as I used to though. My off roading mostly consists of driving into the Starbucks parking lot.

If I need a truck I just bring the F550 Home from work, and if I need to haul something longer than 12 foot I bring the 25 foot Gooseneck with it.
When I had a truck it ended looking like this

Smile A blast from the past!

OK, not current and, technically, they weren't mine, but these were our rentals from about 10/11 years ago. We did 2 Nevada/California road trips (remember, I'm a Brit ) and it was at this point I knew I'd one day own a Mustang. The S197 concept had been shown and I was in love, but the production car was still a little way off.

Oh, and apologies to Hertz.........the 261 PSM license plate and a wheel cap from the second car are now part of my Mustang memorabilia collection

A year later, and we did a slightly more leisurely trip.....notice this 'vert is a 45th Anniversary model.

It was actually a STX, After it was lowered the step bars drug so I put the sport bars on. Although it did have a Harley Lower grille and the Headlights and corners, all the rest minus the wheels is how it came

I understand Ken. I had this one for 4 years. Then I decided it was time to grow up, and get another real useable truck.

Wifey and I went to Cali for a vacation in 2010.. Rented a Mustang ragtop out of SFO, drove the PCH and did 3 days in Carmel/Big Sur and 3 at Yosemite... awesome drives!

As long as we are talking CA 1, I took this photo last May, about a month after getting my Mustang. About 5 miles south of the mouth of the Russian River in Sonoma County-about 60 miles north of San Francisco. I think I've posted this before but I still like it. Taken with my cell phone.

I had to put some new shoe laces on to get through the 'scenery'...

I had to leave it about a mile from my home last night. I put the chains on today to get it home. Still cant go up the driveway....I guess all the scenery will be gone by tomorrow.

I had to go out in the storm early, so no Shoe laces, but it did slide a little backing up the hill into my garage. It didn't go out yesterday but I have to go in this morning and the shady part of the street is a hill and a solid sheet of Ice
