Instagram Helped This Guy Get His Stolen Mustang GT350 Wheels Back

Once upon a time, there was a tale of a Mustang GT350, stolen wheels, tire sensors, and redemption. That time was last week, and it was quite the doozy...

Good story, glad the retarded thief got caught rapidly. I still don't get why he put the car on rocks instead of just leaving the car on the ground... Probably for the same stupid reasoning that he posted the wheels on EBay one day later...

Hope he got locked up for good.

I hate a **** thief. Basically some lowlife deciding they deserve something you worked hard for.

One wonders what would have been damaged further had the rocks not been there, actually... exhaust... belly pans...

One also wonders how fast those TPMS get ripped out of those wheels now that the thieves know about it.

But enough Grumpy Glenda-ing. This story is a happy ending one, and right the heck on!

Even if the sensors didn't scan for the car each sensor has an individual id that is registered by the car (so your TPMS system doesn't use sensor data from a vehicle nearby) any shop with a TPMS tool can recover the sensor IDs and the sensors can be scanned to reveal the sensor ID provided the ******* who stole the wheels didn't remove them however it always seems to me people selling OE wheels with sensors installed tend to leave them in so a person who mysteriously turns up with a set of OE wheels like this without the sensors installed would still be suspect in my mind.

Especially if they didn't have a GT350 sporting aftermarket wheels or had no history of purchasing these wheels.
