First Round of Shelby GT350s Headed to Dealerships
The wait is officially over. The first models of the new Shelby GT350 are finally making their way to U.S. dealerships. But the price may no longer be right.

In fact some lucky owner is probably being handed the keys to one of the new cars as you read this. And as most expected (or feared), there are already reports of dealerships spiking up the cost on the track-focused S550 variant. Yup, there certainly are, and at a pretty hefty price tag.
A dealership in New Jersey reportedly sold a GT350 for $40k over the $63, 495 sticker, costing the owner more than $100,000 to take the keys to his new Shelby, as highlighted in a Carscoop report.
So if you just recently decided that a GT350 might make a nice addition to your garage, then you might want to plan on putting aside some extra cash. That, or send your local Ford dealership a really nice gift. Just a thought.
I saw one at my local dealership. Window sticker was 55k

Never and i mean Never pay over sticker. I have purchased a few very Limited edition cars and the most i paid was sticker. Why would anyone do that?
At 100K I can think of a few things I could buy that would be worth more in the future than a Ford Shelby.

Dealership's Offer to Me...GT350
I was offered a special price for a GT350...$78,599. When I went to see the window sticker online the MSRP was $58,599. No way I am going to pay that much over for the tech package equipped car. I want a track package and I will offer cash...take it or leave it.
BTW, I see someone bought it this morning. OMG.
