Cold weather

So is the cold weather thing for real? I've read that GT350s have to warm up for quite a while in order to drive and not stall due to the engine type and compression. I don't plan on driving her in snow or anything else but I do live in a colder climate where we get like 2 hot months, 4 meh, and 6 freezing. Not Canada but might as well be these days.
