The flat bottom steering wheel is like icing on this beautiful cake of a car. Should be standard on all stangs. Been saving up for a while now to make a decent car purchase, it's either gt350 or base m3 <---I couldn't say that with any other mustang to date! One huge deciding factor will be the weight distribution of the gt350, if it's not 52/48 or better then i'm out.

It looks phenomenal. Any indication of first delivery dates? Not that I could afford one, but I'm very interested to see how it performs. And I sure hope some of these make it out to some track days! Need to become a more seasoned instructor so I have enough clout to instruct whoever is lucky enough to bring one of these out for a day...

Loving it so far. Will it have Carbon ceramic brakes? I didn't see anything about brakes...

Doesn't appear that way. Strange, the Ford GT does have carbon ceramics, but aluminum wheels, and the GT350R has cf wheels, but iron rotors...

Pretty nice. I'm digging this one. The side profile looks great.
I'm guessing around 70K for this bad boy.

Kinda like'n the "regular" GT350- same 5.2, w/o the track goodies... and that obnoxious rear spoiler. Although those CF wheels are pretty awesome!

The S197 just go a little older...

What are the track times? How do we know that? its cool that there is a HP and track war between manufacturers. There will always be a faster car from each one every time they make model changes.

Ah I guess I missed that detail. Makes sense now. But wouldn't the GT have CF wheels too?

True words. The 2005 GT was a great car and a great price... 10 years ago. It was a great improvement over the new edge SN95. But what Ford is doing with this new generation is pretty incredible.

Smile

The pictures of the GT350 R just blew me away. The Ford engineers and stylists have just produced what looks like the perfect Mustang. I love everything about the design and stance of the GT350 R. I think Ford is going to have a Mustang that has a design that will stand the test of time and look fast 20 years from now. I hope I can obtain one of these beauties.

I think I'm in love.

Yeah... my 2014 shelby is looking a little old now.
