Package or edition?
Package or edition?
Hey guys, it might be a stupid question, but is there a 50 year edition mustang and also a seperate 50 year appearence package? The reason I ask is I found several left over 15's in white, black and red and it looks like they are only supposed to come in white and blue. I'm guessing there is a difference, but the only thing I can see are the rear louvers. I also found a pick of a guard with the package that looks good, but can't find any for sale.
the 50th Anniversary Edition Mustang? It starts out as a Ford Mustang GT with the performance pack. Add special louvered rear quarter windows and chrome highlights reminiscent of early Mustangs on the side glass, taillights and grille. Now, add an exclusive color scheme featuring Wimbledon White or Kona Blue â both colors used for the âÂÂ64 ý â and youâÂÂre starting to get the picture. Finish it off with Y-spoke rims that evoke the steel wheels of the original Mustang, GT gas cap badge and âÂÂ50 yearsâ front and center on the fascia and you have the 2015 Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition. The real 50th is only in those two colors and if I'm not mistaken the "package" can not be added to those colors

That makes more sense. I wondered why they were still asking mid-40's for some of them. It looks like the 50 year package still includes the front grille, wheels, gas cap, some of the trim and different seats, but it doesn't include the performance package, louvered windows or cashmier seats or the etched plaque.

If I'm not mistaken, they only made 1964 of the 50th anniversary editions.
