Wheel setup - spacers?

Hey,
Now I'm no big fan of wheel spacers but many folks in the UK have added them to push the wheels out, typically 25mm or 1" spacers have been used. I've been state side quite a lot and last year went to the Mustang roundup in Colorado. I notice that many don't add wheels spacers. I've always thought that American cars, muscle cars included, have always had large fenders that come out at the top and the wheel sits inside yet there is still tyre showing at the bottom, pretty much as is the current setup. Had a Challenger recently whilst out in California and that looked similar. I may be being a bit pedantic but I think if spaced too much it may look more European with the wheels lining up with arches. I prefer the wheels inside the arches but at certain angles it looks as though they could stand some spacing; then I think it's fine.. Has anybody added spacers and what size? I was thinking of just 10mm to keep it looking fairly OEM, that said you start changing the suspension geometry and can invite problems.??

Came across this Mach1 as an example of the top of the wheel sitting in the arch.

Challenger was similar

I have 25mm wheel spacer kit on my GT it makes the car look a bit more masculine
it's a kit that the boss is machined to fit the hub so no centre issues
I think it's a nice upgrade to the car I have the stock 19 inch wheels and with them now just out the fender the car look lower, no rubbing issues

Thanks 1 old racer, good pics. It looks great. I'm sure I've seen your car with the Coyote badge, are they available online? Trouble is I'm UK based and can't always get these nice little add-ons.

got them on Ebay. if you cant find them then give it a week or so, the type of look you want will show up. Mine were between $50 and $60 per pair.
