Vanity plate
If your real name is Shari, try something like MUSTS( ) and add your lucky number.
Mine is MustM plus my two digit lucky number. Here in NJ you can have a max. of 7 letters/digits.

Has anybody put vanity plates on their new rides? I have them on my '09 and would love to put them on my '15, but really struggling with ideas this time around. I bought my car in black. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!
So far, I have come up with these: BLKBUTY (black beauty); PURBRED (pure bred); SHDWHRS (shadow horse); NGHTMRE (night mare); NYTRYDR (night rider); DRKHRSE (dark horse); and STALION.

Black beauty is old. Pure bred doesn't say black to me. Shadow horse is good but it looks like shadow hours to me. Night mare is a good play on words but only if you are looking to be scary Shari. Night rider is wrong style of car and dated. Dark horse fits the color and is a good play on words. Stallion is too male and may look like it's a mans car that you are borrowing.
What image are you trying to show? Fast, fun, mysterious, funny, cute etc.?

Haven't really thought about what "image" I'm going for. I will have to give this a lot more thought...
Thanks!!

Ok, I had an idea... as I was Being Creative!... then it became a mess.
I was thinking maybe you could use Roman numerals for '15', and given that, maybe you could use Latin for 'black'. So you can put this on your plate!
NIGER XV
Then again... lots of people *might* misunderstand what you're saying with that... And you can't really use 'CORACINUS XV, because it's too long... and CRACNSXV looks a lil' silly... so that's kinda out (btw, that's Raven Black in Latin.)
Sooo... Instead of Latin, use Greek, which was also used in the Roman Empire! Yeah! So we get this:
MAVROXV
Which means the same thing. Of course, if your car is a 'she', then you can use this:
MAVRIXV
Which means the feminine version of 'black' in Greek. The masculine, mavros, would be too long, but maybe this'd work:
MAVRSXV
BUUUT... it appears that using those might also be really derogatory, given the google searchin'...
So maybe you just go with the Italian version for the modern day mixed with the old, and you get:
NERO XV
Which means you named your car after a Roman Emperor... or a CD/DVD burning software... if you're cool with that, there ya go.
But given all the maybes and possibles that the variations on the color coupled with roman numeral 15 in different languages...
I would just call the car 'GARY' or 'JENNY' or such and be done with it at this point, because Being Creative! is a mess, apparently.
/Now let's all agree... to never be Creative again...

I like the funny ones, or something clever, other then the typical plates like "SRT8" or "MUSTNG50" "420hp50" "boss302"etc... , the cars already have badges everywhere, no point in putting one more in the vanity plate.

Yeah, It's a tricky one. Virginia DMV said my first 2 choice were offensive and denied them....KLRPONY & KLRSTNG. But they let me have KLRMAX for my Vmax. Go figure!

I still haven't picked one for my stang. I hope to have one on the car real soon!

Plate is ready
Hey I already have my custom plate ready to xfer to the new car. Only problem is I just can't seem to encourage Ford to deliver the car to the Dealer so I can pick it up.
