Just curious if anyone has used the track apps for a 0-60 time. My best so far is 4.6 seconds. 2018 Mustang GT 10R80 Stock 3.15 rear gear ratio. The track apps do not account for tire roll out as would the timers at a drag strip. My time would be 4.3 seconds.

 

I haven't tried this yet. I have the 18 GT manual so i would need to really practice to make better times. I wonder how 3.9 or 4.0 s, are made thats what specs say for the 18s . Seems pretty tough to match. Was reading article about it, maybe lower rear tire pressure to get a better time.

 

The 3.9 seconds 0-60 is with the 10R80 and the 3.55 rear axle ratio. I highly doubt a stock Mustang GT would see 3.9 using the track apps. Like I said the track apps do not account for tire roll out that decreases the time by 3 tenths of a second.

Lol. I need to try this out. So far I've used launch control with new tires. They helped out. Need to check my time on 0 to 60. Did you use launch control for your 0 to 60 time?

 

My 18GT has the 10R80 Auto so it does not have launch control.

 

Really. Oh ok makes sense. So you just floor it when you are ready to take off? That launch control, I used it and it works pretty good. Tires slip a little but with traction control off to sport trac mode it works better. I'll see if I can get a 0 to 60 time for you pretty soon.

 

I have a 18 GT 10R80 PP1 - best 0-60 I've managed is 4.4 - so if that .3 is true, I'm getting 4.1 - funny thing is, my manual 13 GT with the track cal tune could get 4.2 on track apps - maybe my 13 GT was a sleeper???

As for launching in an auto - two pedal method, I launch at around 2500 rpm.

 

Trying to get a 0-60 time, but its not recording. I think launch control and the timer can't be used together on the automatic timer start. Anyone know? I need to try again maybe not use launch control.
edit. I'll try the countdown start next time.
