Shifter Bushing

Just a little updated info. Regarding the "Stock" MT rubber bushing. Most of us Manual trans guys know this is a flimsy and weak part of the shifter assembly. I replaced the bushing in January right after delivery of my 2018 GT with an Energy Suspension bushing Part Number 4.1145G (For GT). I do not drag race my car but I do flat shift it from time to time and drive it like I stole it. I just wanted to let everyone know if you do not race your car you DO NOT need a replacement shifter. This polyurethane bushing takes all the slop out of the shifting process and I haven't missed a shift. For less than $20.00 you can't beat it. It is a little bit of a PITA to install but really not that hard just make sure you don't overtighten the two 10mm mounting studs. (97 in lbs.) I hope this info will help some of the guys.

Sounds like a nice upgrade.
